A few things… earlier this year, aside from working with my book designer Damonza (affiliate) to create an awesome poetry book, I got back into my art practice with the help of the #100dayproject.
I worked on smaller canvases and incorporated collages into my designs which I really enjoyed big time and it’s an area of creativity I would like to explore further.
My artwork was in celebration of Eve, and every woman! Yes, I took inspiration from my poetry collection When Eve Walked which I will continue to do, bringing my words and art together.
I’ve made small progress but progress, nonetheless, back into the life of an artist, which is where my heart is at, and I’ll be focusing my attention increasingly there.
Fortunately, I’ve still got lots of poetry to be inspired by, along with many empty canvases to fill with womanly magic. You can follow all my Eve art on Instagram!
